Benjamin B. Wagner is the current United States Attorney for the Eastern District of California. He was appointed in 2009 by President Barack Obama, replacing interim US Attorney Lawrence G. Brown who will become Executive Assistant US Attorney. He began his legal career as an associate at Cahill, Gordon & Reindel in New York City in 1987. In 1992, he left to join the Office of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of California.
